Boy Scouts of America Launches Fully Redesigned Web Site

WALL, N. J. February 2008 –Single Throw, a premier Internet marketing firm headquartered in New Jersey, has announced that it has completed a fully redesigned website for the Jersey Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The search optimization specialists were hired to revamp the website after the Council realized the previous version they were using was not producing many online lead generation results and was tough for visitors to navigate. “The look and feel of the site did not portray the progressive spirit of the organization,” said Ethan Draddy, Scout Executive, Jersey Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Single Throw also optimized the website using their Search to Success® strategies, helping to attract “the right customers at the right time,” and increasing online lead generation results.

In addition, the Boy Scouts will be using the Internet company’s audio podcasting solution, Timbre™, which will help to keep parents and scouts informed of local news and events, as well as being used for training the scouts themselves.

Chartered under the Boy Scouts of America, the Jersey Shore Council serves over 15,000 young members and is one the largest youth-serving associations in New Jersey. In addition, over 200 community organizations, representing civic, non-profit, educational, religious and business organizations, are partnered with the Jersey Shore Council in chartering 301 Scouting units, including packs, troops, teams, crews, posts and groups.

Children and teens are taught about leadership through regimented outdoor activities, including camping excursions, field trips and summer programs. They also offer activities that involve the entire family, such as camping.
