The Power and Pitfalls of Internet Marketing Presented by Single Throw and Ask Jeeves
Internet marketing is such a hot topic lately, it has taken businesses of all sizes by storm. Companies with small budgets as well as corporate giants are all just starting to experience the benefits of well structured Internet marketing campaigns.
Good Internet marketing firms can significantly help a business increase revenue but, by the same token, bad Internet marketing firms can create a lot of problems for the unsuspecting business that may hire them. JSPRAA (Jersey Shore Public Relations Advertising Association) recognized the need for their members to be educated on both the power and pitfalls of Internet marketing.
JSPRAA Board Member Jeff Green of Red Flannel, a creative advertising firm in Freehold, NJ, contacted business speakers Larry Bailin, CEO of Single Throw, and Anthony Iaffaldano, Sales Marketing Manager of both Ask Jeeves and Teoma. Considered experts in their fields, Bailin and Iaffaldano were engaged to make a joint presentation to the JSPRAA membership on March 7, 2003.
Both speakers educated a packed house of 80 + JSPRAA members and non-members on the benefits, pitfalls and technology behind Internet marketing. "The presentation was a huge success," said Marge Guglielmo, President of JSPRAA.
"Organizations that have an interest in educating their members on the topic of Internet
marketing have been calling since the March 7th presentation," said Bailin of Single Throw. Bailin and Iaffaldano will be scheduling further joint presentations featuring Single Throw's Internet marketing solutions for businesses and Ask Jeeves' search engine solutions.
Single Throw and Ask Jeeves are expected to solidify a formal relationship in the near future.
